Most things in the real world aren't as simple as the 2D approach we previously learned. In this section you will learn how to break static force vectors into 3 components (x, y, and z). Once you have the components you will be able to then apply the equations of static equilibrium (sum of the forces in the x, y, and z equal to zero).
